• Egg Flats: Use 12x12-inch egg flats inside your enclosure for roaches to hide, climb, and breed. Alternate their orientation for better airflow and easier cleanup.
• Container Design: Choose smooth-sided containers to prevent roach escapes, as they are not natural climbers.
• Covering the Enclosure: Use mesh screen covers for aquariums or heavy-duty plastic covers for plastic tubs. For proper ventilation, cut a 6x6-inch hole in the tub cover and attach vinyl mesh with hot glue.
